Like many other games, GTA has limits that may later need to be increased as the modding community grows. This limit adjuster gives you that opportunity.Furthermore, it hacks some limits that were once deemed impossible to be hacked because of their complexity, as the ID limits itself took over 5000 lines of code to hack.An example of these limits would be the ID limits, weapon limits, handling.cfg limits & cargrp.dat limit.Map limits are also hacked.

The 7.5' rear end and the 8.8' rear end share the same axles, axle tubes, and many other things. The difference is purely in the diameter of the ring gear. I doubt the ring gear is any stronger in an 8.8' than a 7.5' so it's now down to only the carrier and internal gears that are stronger. Because there's an extra 1.3' inside the ring gear, the traction-lok, pinion gears and carrier can be 'beefed up', and they are. Most likely, your pinion gears will break in a 7.5' which is what happened to me and from what I can see, SVT Rob too. I did a big 3-lane fishtail onto the street from a gas station and sped off down the road just fine.
Then made a left turn onto my street 2 miles later and heard the BANG BANG BANG BANG until I straightened out again. It will happen at some point but like you said, if it aint broke, don't fix it.
Well, take that into HEAVY consideration first. On my old Dodge Dart with a beefed up 318 and 998 trans, when the 7.25' rear end snapped, it shocked the sprag like 50 neutral drops all at once and broke it.

I did that exact same thing (rear end brakes and causes trans to fail) 2 or 3 times before I upgraded to a bigger rear. I'm sure a rear end braking like that also causes harm to a manual transmission, so be wary.
The pre-load spring in the 7.5' Traction-Lok differential is where the problem lies. It is two plates with four small springs between them, one in each corner, much like the Auburn locking diff. It's that way at least through '84, maybe through mid '85.
The springs separate from the plates and then get jammed in the spider gears and wipe them out.The pre-load spring in the 8.8' T-L diff is just single, formed plate in the shape of an 'S'. Nothing to separate there. Nothing to get jammed in the spider gears. The pre-load spring in the 7.5' Traction-Lok differential is where the problem lies. Nothing to get jammed in the spider gears. I noticed those springs the other day while replacing the bearings in my 7.5.I wonder I'd you could swap in an S spring from something else(8.8?)to give the little rear end a better chance on the cheap? What no one saying shortened 9inch.theres a reason the gt500 guys are going back to them instead of the 8.8.The 8.8 in my stock 08 GT 500 gave up the ghost at 2700 miles but I have to tell you it tokk a serious beating to do it.I could lay rubber for a few hundred feet with only a little patch of asphalt showing through the stripes on the 1- 2 and 2-3 shifts all wile tire smoke kept billowing out of the wheel wells.Thank you FORD warranty dept. They were my sponsor and yes I payed for it when I bought the car trust me. Its all power to weight.

I built up my 7.5 a bit. I put in an Auburn Locker, and Richmond 4.10 gears. It held up fine on the street for a while. First time at the track was when I really tested it.
And it failed. It didn't grenade the spider gears, and the springs stayed intact. What happened was it broke a tooth off of the pinion gear. With the 4.10, the pinion gear on the 7.5 is so small it's scary. I was even thinking that as I was putting it in.
So in my attempt to make it stronger, all I really did was swap to a different weakest link. I'm done messing with the 7.5 and will be installing an 8.8. This is your 2nd reference to the GM 7.5 but I'm sure that you realize the GM 7.5 rearend and the Ford 7.5 rearend are completely different designs. There is no relevance in comparing the 2.also, the gm 7.5' eventually grew to 7.625' in the 10 bolts. I suspect longevity to have been the problem, and they also upgraded the 26 spline axle to 28.
There are instances where stock power tbi camaros have broken the pinion gear for the ring and pinion on the 7.5. I suspect that is why some of the hotrod fbody models got the bw 9 bolt.
Even the larger 10 bolts are nothing to brag about. Any chev guy running any kind of power on sticky tires swaps those 10 bolts out for a 12 bolt or a 9'.unless of course it is an older model 10 bolt like my dad's 66 nova with the 8.5' ring gear. Available pspice 9.2 student version. But we were talking about the 7.5' 10 bolt specifically.cale.
